It has been a very long time since I wrote my last blog post. However, I would like to tell you that I have been really busy. I had to make an unplanned trip to another country, which I am right now writing from. I’ll let you know in another blog post about why I made this trip so fast and unplanned. Right now, I can only tell you that I will be posting the Get To Know Me blog post sooner than you think. So, without further ado, let’s talk about today’s topic.

For so many years, I tried to avoid using sunscreen even though I lived during my childhood and teenage years in a tropical country. During my adulthood, I understood that I had wasted those years and now I had to start paying off that debt with my skin. However, it is never too late to start using sunscreen, especially during this time of the year. Yes, spring has arrived and summer is around the corner. Therefore, we have to start prepping our skin with moisturizers and sunscreen if we have not yet.  I really love going outside during warm days, I love to go camping, biking, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, canopying, kayaking, and of course, I love every sport that has to be with water and the sun!

During winter days my skin gets really dry, I do use sunscreen because it is essential to use it even there is not enough sunlight outside. Even though I prep my skin during the whole year, it gets drier during summer. That is why I have to apply more frequent my sunscreen and drink plenty of liquids. I confess that water is not my favorite drink, but I try very hard to drink at least 5 glasses of water during a day. I also use my polarized sunglasses because the sun could get really bright and I may get a migraine crisis. Therefore, I do not go out without my sunscreen, water, and polarized sunglasses. To stay in the makeup no makeup look, I use mascara; brows must be on point and of course a lipstick!

So far, my stay in Nicaragua has been pretty exciting. After having a long and dry winter, I needed so much this tropical weather. I am hoping to share with you more of this trip on my Instagram page. Please take a look at my Instagram feed if you have not. I am so excited to start these two seasons this year.  I look forward to hearing from you what are your hobbies and activities you’d love to do this Spring and Summer.
